Sukhwinder (Bill) Singh Sandhu has fulfilled his dream of establishing a library so that people can learn about Sikhism. “My goal is to have the Khalsa library help educate the next generation through this, to have peace, and to learn to share and always, to think about others.” The idea of a library came to mind when he heard that people were fighting at a Sikh temple. When he learned that many people did not know or understand much about Sikhism, he tried to think of a way to educate them and to make peace. When he returned to his native India for a visit, he bought several thousand books and brought them back to Canada. Now Khalsa library has been re-launched on digital platforms to reach worldwide. Khalsa library is now available on web, IOS and Android platforms.
